SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to orders placed with BreezeMode for delivery within South Africa.

By placing an order with BreezeMode, you agree to the terms below, subject at all times to your rights under applicable South African law.

1. DELIVERY AREAS

BreezeMode currently delivers to physical addresses within South Africa.

Orders are delivered using Aramex Store-to-Door or another suitable courier service where necessary.

Aramex Store-to-Door requires a valid physical delivery address. We are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes.

2. DELIVERY TIMEFRAME

Our estimated delivery timeframe is 8–11 business days from confirmation of your order and payment.

Business days are Monday to Friday and exclude South African public holidays.

The 8–11 business day timeframe is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure orders arrive within this timeframe, delivery times may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Remote, regional or outlying areas may take longer to service.

3. COURIER SERVICE

BreezeMode primarily uses Aramex Store-to-Door for deliveries within South Africa.

Once your parcel has been prepared and handed to the courier, delivery will be completed to the physical address provided with your order.

A signature or other confirmation of delivery may be required.

Where available, tracking information will be provided once your shipment has been processed with the courier.

4. DELIVERY DELAYS

Although we aim to deliver all orders within the estimated 8–11 business day timeframe, delays may occasionally occur.

Possible causes include, but are not limited to:

  • courier network delays;
  • delivery to remote or outlying areas;
  • unusually high order or courier volumes;
  • severe weather;
  • road closures or transport disruptions;
  • strikes or industrial action;
  • public holidays;
  • civil unrest;
  • natural disasters;
  • incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer;
  • failed delivery attempts;
  • circumstances beyond BreezeMode’s reasonable control; or
  • other unforeseen logistical disruptions.

BreezeMode does not guarantee an exact delivery date unless expressly agreed in writing.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, BreezeMode will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or similar losses arising solely from a delivery delay caused by a courier or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

However, nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any right or remedy that a consumer is entitled to under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or any other applicable South African law.

If your order is materially delayed, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to investigate the shipment with the courier and assist in resolving the matter.

5. DELIVERY ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the following information is accurate when placing an order:

  • recipient’s full name;
  • physical delivery address;
  • suburb;
  • city or town;
  • postal code;
  • telephone number; and
  • any other information reasonably required to complete delivery.

Please check this information carefully before completing your order.

If you notice an error after placing your order, contact BreezeMode as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been processed or handed to the courier.

6. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

BreezeMode will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect, incomplete or outdated delivery information supplied by the customer.

Where a parcel is returned, redirected or requires a further delivery attempt because incorrect or incomplete information was provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for reasonable additional courier or re-delivery costs to the extent permitted by law.

7. FAILED DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Customers are responsible for ensuring that somebody is reasonably available to receive the parcel at the delivery address provided.

Where delivery cannot be completed because:

  • nobody is available to receive the parcel;
  • access to the property cannot reasonably be obtained;
  • the recipient cannot be contacted;
  • delivery is refused without a valid legal basis; or
  • incorrect delivery information was supplied,

additional courier or re-delivery charges may apply where permitted by law.

8. TRACKING

Where tracking is available, customers may use the tracking details supplied with their order to monitor the shipment.

Courier tracking information is supplied by the courier and may occasionally take time to update.

A temporary lack of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that the parcel has been lost.

If there has been no reasonable movement on your tracking information for an extended period, please contact BreezeMode so that we can investigate.

9. LOST PARCELS

If you believe your parcel has been lost in transit, please contact BreezeMode.

We may open an investigation with Aramex or the relevant courier before determining the appropriate resolution.

Customers should not be required to pursue the courier directly in order to exercise any statutory rights against BreezeMode.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost before valid delivery has taken place, BreezeMode will provide the remedy required by applicable South African law.

10. DAMAGED PARCELS

If your order arrives visibly damaged, please contact BreezeMode as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, please provide photographs of:

  • the external courier packaging;
  • the shipping label;
  • the internal packaging; and
  • the damaged product.

This helps us investigate the issue with the courier.

Any rights relating to damaged, defective or unsafe goods remain subject to our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy and applicable South African law.

11. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION

A parcel may be regarded as delivered once the courier’s records reasonably confirm delivery to the delivery address or recipient, subject to applicable law.

If tracking indicates that your parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact BreezeMode promptly so that we can investigate with the courier.

12. SHIPPING FEES

Applicable shipping fees will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Any additional delivery charges caused by incorrect customer information, failed delivery attempts or requested re-delivery may be charged to the customer where reasonable and legally permissible.

13. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All orders are subject to product availability.

If BreezeMode is unable to fulfil an order because the product is unavailable, we will notify the customer and provide any refund required by applicable South African law.

We will not substitute another product without the customer’s agreement.

14. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

BreezeMode will not be considered in breach of this Policy solely because of a delay caused by events that could not reasonably have been prevented or controlled by us, subject to applicable consumer law.

This may include natural disasters, extreme weather, transport interruptions, government restrictions, strikes, civil unrest, courier network disruptions or similar events.

We will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to assist affected customers and fulfil our legal obligations.

15. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate delivery information;
  • providing a working telephone number;
  • monitoring tracking information where supplied;
  • being reasonably available to accept delivery; and
  • contacting us promptly if there appears to be a delivery problem.

Failure to do so may result in delays or reasonable additional delivery charges where permitted by law.

16. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any right that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.

Online transactions are subject, where applicable, to the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

Where a provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory provision of applicable consumer legislation, the applicable legislation will prevail.
